Narrative
One died, and one was injured following a head-on crash on S.C. Highway 41 near Tess Place in Berkeley County before 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9th. Officials said the driver of Traffic Unit 1, traveling north, tried to pass Traffic Unit 2, heading south. As a result, the driver of Traffic Unit 2 suffered unspecified injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 succumbed to fatal injuries.
