One was injured, and one life was claimed in a crash along Ridgeway Road near Carriage Lane in Kershaw County around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, a driver of Traffic Unit 1 was traveling east when for reasons unknown, the car spun out. Then the driver of Traffic Unit 2 struck the vehicle. The driver of Traffic Unit 2 was hospitalized for unspecified injuries, and the driver of Traffic Unit 1 succumbed to fatal injuries.
