Narrative
One died after a hit-and-run crash on the eastbound lanes of I-20 in Aiken before 5:45 p.m. on Monday, February 6th. South Carolina Highway Patrol said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 was parked in an emergency lane and had the hazard lights on. She walked across the road and was hit by the driver of Traffic Unit 2. The driver of Traffic Unit 2 did not render aid and fled the scene. The driver of Traffic Unit 2 has not been found. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 was identified as 58-year-old Tanya Rogers. Rogers succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
