Two were hospitalized, and one life was claimed following a single-vehicle on Gum Springs Road in Taylors around 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1st. South Carolina Highway Patrol said for reasons unknown, the driver of Traffic Unit 1 crossed the center lines, traveled off course, and collided with a tree. One passenger succumbed to fatal injuries. A 3-year-old toddler, and the driver, a 25-year-old adult, were hospitalized for unspecified injuries.
