Narrative
ORANGEBURG CO., SC – One person died, and two people went to the hospital with injuries after a two-vehicle collision along the highway near Elloree.
The incident happened just after 3 p.m. on US-301, or Five Chop Road, at Carriage Hill Road, or Charmont Drive.
Police say that a northbound 2003 Honda collided with a southbound 2014 Mazda on US-301.
One person from the Honda died. Authorities have not yet released the victims identity to the public.
The driver of the Mazda and a second person from the Honda went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
