Narrative
ORANGEBURG, SC – Two adults and one child died on Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash involving a semi along a highway in north-central Orangeburg County.
The collision happened in the evening on US-301, or Five Chop Road, at Cross Creek Drive, which is southwest of Owens Pond.
The investigation indicates that a westbound 2014 Freightliner attempted to turn onto Highway 301 from Cross Creek Drive, at which point it was struck by a 2002 Mustang.
All three occupants in the Mustang died. Authorities identified the victims as 35-year-old Kristen Johnson, 3-year-old Sabrina Ann Johnson, and 33-year-old Stacey Brown.
The truck driver did not sustained injuries in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
