Narrative
MARION CO., SC – One person died Wednesday after a three-vehicle head-on crash along the highway in western Marion County.
The incident happened in the morning on Highway 76 near Pee Dee.
Police say that a westbound Ford pickup truck veered onto the eastbound side of the highway and collided head-on with an 18-wheeler and another pickup truck.
The driver of the Ford died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet identified the victim.
A full investigation is underway.
