Narrative
MCBEE, SC – A two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on the highway in southern Chesterfield County killed one person and injured two others.
The incident happened last Tuesday near the intersection of SC-151 near Old Creek Road.
Police say that an SUV failed to yield when appropriate and struck a motorcyclist along the highway.
The biker died four days after the crash in the hospital. Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased to the public.
Both the driver of the SUV and a passenger sustained injuries of unknown severity.
A full investigation is underway.
