Narrative
GREENVILLE, SC – A 23-year-old man died last Sunday in a wrong-way collision along a major roadway in southwest Greenville.
The accident happened around 9:45 a.m. along White Horse Road between Daniel Avenue and Welcome Avenue, which is near the Tabernacle Christian School.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a Toyota Camry veered onto the wrong-side of the roadway and crashed head-on into a Kia.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as Michael Elazeruth Hagood of Pickens, died at the scene.
Medics transported the two occupants of the Kia to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
