Narrative

One person died due to a crash that occurred at U.S. Highway 29 and Belton Highway in Anderson on Friday, Jan. 27th. According to the Anderson County coroner’s office, the driver of Traffic Unit 2 did not stop at a red light and struck the driver of Traffic Unit 1. It is unclear if the driver of Traffic Unit 1 was hurt. The driver of Traffic Unit 1, 80-year-old Gerald Tucker, was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to fatal injuries on Tuesday, Jan. 31st.
