Narrative
One was hurt following a crash involving a train at White Horse Road in Greenville after 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 12th. South Carolina Highway Patrol said a driver of Traffic Unit 1 stopped at the red light along the railroad tracks. The driver of Traffic Unit 2 went behind Traffic Unit 2. The outside of the tractor-trailer stuck out. Traffic Unit 3 approached, so the driver of Traffic Unit 2 tried to move forward to avoid hitting Traffic Unit 3. The attempt was unsuccessful, and the driver of Traffic Unit 3 hit Traffic Unit 2. The impact caused the driver of Traffic Unit 2 to “swing around” and collide with a utility pole. The power lines then fell on another vehicle injuring one occupant. The victim was hospitalized and is in stable condition.
