GREENVILLE, SC – A 67-year-old male pedestrian died on Tuesday night after a vehicle struck him near a busy intersection in Greenville.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Augusta Road near Stratford Road, which is northeast of White Horse Road and southwest of The Vintage Market of Greenville.
Police say the pedestrian, identified as Willie Andrew Elledge, was attempting to cross the street when a pickup truck hit him. Elledge died at the scene of the accident.
