Narrative
JASPER CO., SC – Three people from Savannah died Monday after a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in south Jasper County.
The incident happened around 6:35 p.m. to the south of Hardeeville at the intersection of Chalmers Road and Bellinger Hill.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a westbound sedan crashed into an SUV near the intersection. Three people from the sedan died at the scene of the crash. Authorities identified two of them as 25-year-old Rodrigo Hernandez Soto, 18-year-old Habraham Hernadez Soto, and an unnamed minor.
Medics transported two other people from the sedan along with the driver of the SUV to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
