Narrative
SENECA, SC – A 47-year-old man died on Thursday night when a vehicle struck them along the highway in Seneca.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. on the westbound side of US-76 near Richland Road, which is just south of the Oconee Country Club.
Police say that the pedestrian was attempting to cross the highway on foot when a westbound Kia Forte struck him.
Authorities identified the victim as Joshua Michael Lewis.
A full investigation is underway.
